Description

The Ron Lingham Drive walk is a fair weather walk that takes in the Western side of Rupanyup and skirts the edges of the town. There is a toilet, rest area and BBQ or picnic spot along the way. The walk leads you along Ron Lingham drive which was named after one of the towns better known identities who planted many tree seedlings along the walk and which are now well formed trees providing a wind break on blowy days. The walk is a little messy directly after heavy rain, however, it dries out quite quickly and can be walked on a day or so after most wet days. It is a great walk in autumn, spring and summer and some times it is a brisk walk on fine sunny days in winter as well.
